Interested in great bargains on high-quality designer furniture and one-of-a-kind home décor, all available at 50 to 80 percent off original retail prices? If so, you’ll want to mark your calendar for The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Annual Sample Sale which takes place September 22-24, 2011 at International Market Square (IMS).
Hours for this year’s sample sale are extended:
Thursday 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Below are a few tips to help you shop like a pro!
1. Make a Plan
Decide what you want to look for and how much you want to spend before you attend the sale. Without a targeted approach, the large quantity of merchandise can become overwhelming and you’ll get distracted!
2. Gather Pertinent Information
Bring a floor plan, room dimensions, photos of the space, fabric swatches, etc. – whatever information you might need to make an informed decision.
3. Be Prepared to Purchase
Come with a decisive mindset. Items go quickly – if you see something you can’t live without you’ll want to purchase the item while you have the opportunity.
